Define the behavior
Specify one behavior that would meaningfully improve your life. Be specific.
What is the minimum viable version?
Define the smallest version you can complete in under 2 minutes. On low-capacity days, this is sufficient.
Set implementation intention
Implementation intentions increase follow-through by 2-3x (Gollwitzer & Sheeran, 2006). Anchor your behavior to an existing daily cue.
Confirm formation plan
Review your implementation intention. This becomes your behavioral anchor.
When the cue occurs, the behavior follows.
Select reinforcement marker (Optional)
A small positive signal after completion can accelerate formation. Select something brief and consistent.
Rate the degree of automaticity for this behavior. Respond based on current experience.
